Meep!

Lei made a noise when Thor noticed her. She didn’t mean to make that noise but it just happened. How on Earth did he notice her? Maybe she wasn’t as sneaky as she thought she was. Lei couldn’t answer him because almost immediately he was yelling about Loki. Now she didn’t know this Loki but truthfully? He sounded kinda fun.  

It was almost scary when Thor when from this screaming titan to the calm person before her. It made her take a step backwards in surprise. Lei noticed that her feet bumped into the fountain, which was now right behind her. 

“I….uh… don’t know who did it….I mean, no I don’t have any ideas.” Lei tried to smile as innocently as she could. 

Thor gave a disspointmenting look, but he kept in mind that maybe Loki was behind this. “Okay then…How are things anyways?” Putting away what just had happened, Thor wanted to strike up a conversation.

Thor looked at Lei awaiting her reply and then turned to face the fountain to stare into the water, watching the fish swim.

Now that Lei had gotten some of her laughs out, she started to feel kinda bad for doing those pranks but maybe one more couldn’t hurt. Besides, she needed to get a clean getaway without looking suspicious. So she created a tendril to distract him while she emerged behind him. Her plan was to walk up to him and act like nothing happened and then tell him later. 

The downside to this plan was that he might put two and two together, then take out his rage on her. Not a good thing indeed, besides….It was just a joke. 

Frustrated he hears something coming from behind, turning around he saw Lei. “Oh it’s you… Did you see who threw this rock, or was it you?” All he wanted to know was who threw the rock and why, He hated pranks since he was little~ Mainly because of his brother Loki. 

That coming to mind he thought that it might have been Loki. “IT WAS YOU WASN’T LOKI!…LOKI COME OUT!!!” Yelling at the top of voice. He calmed himself down a bit and turned to Lei, “Do you have any ideas?”.

Lei let out a noise at Thor’s yelling and had to clamp her hands down on her mouth to keep from cackling and rolling on the floor. She was so glad that she was halfway submerged into shadow otherwise he would have saw her. As Lei got in control of herself, she sent a tendril of shadow out tapped him on the shoulder. She dissipated it as soon as it did its deed and waited for another opportunity to create another one to do something else. 

The angel on her shoulder was faintly screaming “What would he do if he found out?!” but the devil was laughing along with her. 

Quickly turning around to see who was behind tapping his shoulder. But nothing was there. Calling out if any one was there and that this isn’t a joke. But nothing in response. Walking around he decided to check out his surroundings, and that maybe it will help him fine the one that is playing these pranks on him.

Looking into the near by bushes, he searched but could not see anything or anyone. “Alright, I am done with your games~ Now show yourself!” He was still pissed off about the whole pebble thing.

Lei saw the pebble being thrown into the water. This may be a mean joke on her part but she just couldn’t resist! After all, the was the legendary Thor! He was known for his bravery and mettle in battle but few knew about his ability to handle a prank. Well, Lei would find out. 

She used the shadows in the water to search out the pebble and launch it straight back at him. She didn’t launch it very hard but just hard enough for it to catch his attention as it bounced off of him. Lei tried her best to keep her giggling quiet as it ricocheted off of him. 

Watching the water, he didn’t expect the pebble he threw to come back at him. The pebble flying back, sacred the living daylights out of him. He lowered his body and looked once again into the water, searching for who ever threw the pebble at him. “WHO DID THAT!… I KNOW YOU ARE OUT THERE!…REVEAL YOURSELF!~” 

Shouting at the water gave him no response, so he turned around and looked around his surroundings, but nothing from what he could see.

This Drink, I like it || Helena and Thor

“They’re fantastic. I hope they help…. with your… large appetite…” Helena said with a small laugh. “I don’t know, probably about fifteen or twenty minutes. It’s pretty fast here, as long as the waiters are good.” Helena added, hoping they were good. It was so strange, being in the real world. For some reason, compared to everything she saw at S.H.I.E.L.D, the world in the city seemed like the fake life. After learning how much more was out in the world, Helena figured she would never be able to go back to her normal life. A normal life which was comprised of working and sleeping, and didn’t have much of any excitement.

After sometime, the waitress came back around bringing the food they ordered. The pancakes were first, placing the two plates in front of them. Before heading off the waitress confirmed that the rest of the meals are on their way.

Thor looked upon the pancakes that were on his plate, he could get the wonderful smell that arose from them. “It smells good!” Taking his fork and knife he cut into the short stack and eat it. 

His eyes lit up, he loved the sweet taste that came from these flat cakes. ” This is good~ I like it!” His voice thundered throughout the cafe. Smiling at Helena, he took another bit from his plate.

Skipping class had become a regular thing for Lei but today, surprisingly, was a day off for everyone. So the thrill of skipping class was gone so all that was left for Lei to do was dilly dally. Lei was hanging out with a book in the nearby garden near the Academy until she saw someone familiar. 

Lei had met Thor by chance and as odd as he might have seemed, she sorta liked the big guy. Plus, he didn’t seem at all bothered by the fact she was a mutant and that was a big plus in her book. Lei started to sneak around the bushes of the garden and as she sneaked around, an evil thought formed in her head. 

Wondering around the garden of the Academy for Mutants, Thor was thinking about how this place isn’t so bad, that there are people with powers and mortals to be exact. 

Looking around he came to a water feature that was in the middle of the garden, surrounded by flowers of all kinds. Picking up a pebble Thor threw it into the water, watching it sink. Not noticing his acquaintance behind the bushes. 

This Drink, I like it || Helena and Thor

Helena raised an eyebrow, at his curious choice of food. She felt she shouldn’t be surprised, with such a big guy, but she didn’t even eat that much in one whole day. Helena naturally didn’t eat a lot. She was always self conscious about her body, and usually ate just enough to be full. But being with Thor, she figured she wouldn’t have to worry about looking like a pig. 

Helena laughed at the look the waitress gave Thor before writing it down, and walking away with one more glance behind her. Helena didn’t blame her, at least Helena knew he wasn’t just an average guy who happened to be extremely tall and have the appetite of a small elephant. 

Helena thought for a minute, stealing a glance at one of the tables next to them, and at a little kid not eating his own chocolate chip pancakes, but just staring in awe at Thor. “Well… it’s like a griddle cake I guess…. they’re just sweet dough that’s cooked on a pan. They’re delicious, I promise.” Helena reassured him with a smile.

Thinking about flattened cake with a sweet taste, Thor became intrigued about this wonderful thing called a pancake. “It sounds good… How long will we have to wait until they have made our meals?”

Back in Asgard everything was already presented at the table once they have arrived and sat down at the dinning table. So for Thor by waiting for his meal, he thought that the chefs unorganized in the kitchen. But despite that, Thor has a patient heart.

Hmmm, You mortals confuse me. I would have thought that with great power your kind would be since as a higher race…Having powers shouldn’t been seen as a curse it’s more like a gift.

This Drink, I like it || Helena and Thor

Helena looked up to see him looking right at her, which made her feel a little uncomfortable, so she looked back down at her menu after looking back for a minute. “Yeah I guess so…” She said, deciding on pancakes. She was a sucker for pancakes, they made her feel like a little kid again. Helena called over one of the waitresses she didn’t know. ”I’ll have pancakes and a coffee, and whatever he wants.” Helena said, nodding her head in Thor’s direction. She wouldn’t be surprised if he ordered the whole menu, he could probably eat everything and still be hungry.

Thor turned to face the waitress that a waited his response, taking in a deep breathe he prepared himself to order what was on the menu. “I would like coffee as well, and also this think that you call a steak, along with this beacon and egg sandwich and these pancakes that she is having as well.”

The waitress looked at him, she thought that Thor would order more, but little did she know Thor was just holding back. Thor at the end of the day would have a feast meal to top his day and then get some shut eye afterwards.

“So Helena what are these pancakes that you have ordered?” He was a bit curious about many things and this being one of many.
